My editing career was started during my formative years at University.
I have two Masters Degrees & a Bachelors (Honours) Degree.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts (Hons) at The University of Auckland, majoring in Anthropology/Archaeology, before completing my Master of Arts in Anthropology/Archaeology at Auckland.
I was subsequently accepted onto, & completed a Master of Archaeological Science programme at the University of Oxford in the UK.
During my study, I was the student who asked questions, questioned the answer, & knocked on closed doors until I had answered the question. I was the word artist never satisfied that the document was perfect until it was perfect. I was the friend who edited your document & knocked on the doors for you too because you needed my help. I was an A Grade student with a penchant for all things words and all things academic. I understood that academics were hard work but that some of it came easier to me than others, & so I helped others so that they would do well too.
Thus was born my natural progression into editing as a profession. My students (& other clients) know all too well that I always go above & beyond my job to make sure any document I receive is given the very best of my attention right down to the very last punctuation mark in the bibliography.
I have professional editing and proofreading experience across the board, including subjects/areas:
- Technical & Professional Writing
- Web Content
- Film, Television & Media
- Health & Medicine
- Sports/Fitness & Sports Medicine
- Computer Science
- Economics & Commerce
- Business & Communication
